Stayed here for a few days while visiting Alsace. We stayed in the appartement decorated with fruits. It was a one bedroom appartement with a kitchen, large bathroom and living room. It was very spacious, well decorated and clean. It felt like home! Also, you can find anything you want in the kitchen which was convenient for cooking.
The appartement was located near the station and a few minutes by foot from Colmar center. You can park your car for free in front of the building. It was useful because we traveled with our car.
Would stay here again if I ever visit Colmar again in the future.

Cons: Cons: Constrained schedule, noisy with the windows open (you can hear the station announcements even from the room facing the other side), the website information is out of date, we had booked breakfast in advance via WhatsApp, but Anne had forgotten and sent us to the station buffet, and had to have the exact change for the tourist tax because Anne doesn't come for checkout (which we discovered when we were leaving).
In short, we have the impression that Anne wants to provide a quality apartment but with minimal hassle. We felt more welcome in hotel chains!

The room was spotless and very comfortable, truly with a home-like feeling. The bed was especially comfortable and we slept so well.

Great location, within walking distance of Colmar city center. Very attentive hostess. Colorful, bright, airy, and clean apartment. Comfortable bed. Themed and thoughtfully decorated. Near the train station (with an excellent breakfast area) from which you can quickly travel to places like Basel or Strasbourg. Good (free) parking.

I had a great time at the appartement and in Colmar. Host Anne is really nice and extremely helpful. The room is very pretty, clean and comfortable. It is a short walk to the city center, but that is no problem.

A cozy and quietly located apartment with a very helpful landlady. Perfect for those arriving by train and for those who want to explore Colmar in addition to hiking in the Vosges Mountains or to the numerous castles in the area. Getting there is quick and easy by public transport. Parking is also available for those arriving by car. We felt very comfortable and would gladly return.

We stayed here a few nights in the beginning of July. The place was absolutely great - the host gave us a very warm welcome and the place was beautiful and felt very personal. We received a lot of information on places to visit. It's a quiet part of the city very close to the train station, but within walking distance to the city centre. Would love to come here for the Christmas market!

The place is unbelievable, starting with a beautiful entrance and finishing up with the beautiful house and rooms. We stayed in the fruits apartment which is amazing with so many lovely decorations and equipped with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and you can sleep very well as it is situated in a quiet zone with almost no cars. I was impressed with how clean the place was! Maison1934 is very close to the main train station, also easy to get to the city center by foot or with the free bus. Anne, our host, is a very sweet and helpful person and she is part of the reason why we want to come back to Colmar!

This is a great choice for a comfortable stay in Colmar. The location was perfect for us - 2 blocks from the train station and a pleasant 20 minute walk from the part of Colmar most of us come to visit. It is peaceful and quiet (even being so close to the trains) and a great contrast to the bustle of the old town. There is also a cute free electric bus to take to the tourist sites from the train station that was helpful initially to get familiar with the area. As advertised there is also abundant free parking which is a real bonus in a town like this. Anne was the most warm and helpful host you could imagine. She has clearly spent countless hours preparing helpful maps, guides and providing personalized suggestions. She is an excellent communicator in English. We were in the blue studio and had everything we needed with Anne’s fanciful decor as a backdrop. Spotlessly clean with a comfortable bed. I highly recommend Maison 1934. Note:there is a flight of stairs to get to the rooms. It is better for Anne and other hosts to get direct bookings vs using booking.com or Airbnb so go direct if you can.

You immediately feel at home with friends. Anne takes great care of her guests. You'll find everything you need in the comfortable, beautifully decorated apartments. The location is also ideal. We highly recommend staying at Maison 1934 if you want to feel like you're staying in a little home, while also having the opportunity to interact cordially with the owners who live there.

My wife and I once more enjoyed a stay at Maison 1934. We have been coming for a few years now as it makes a pleasant stop 8 hours drive from Calais. The rooms are newly furnished, decorated with great care and imagination, and very spacious and comfortable. It's a short walk across the lines into the historical centre, which never ceases to intrigue and charm. We would recommend this as an ideal place to stay while exploring Colmar and the wider attractions of Alsace.

Our stay at Maison 1934 in December 2024 was nothing short of perfect! From the moment we booked, Anne, the incredible host, went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience. She provided detailed, thoughtfully curated guides for Colmar and its surroundings, helping us make the most of our visit. Her support didn’t stop there—she was incredibly responsive before, during, and even after our stay, answering all our questions with kindness and care.
The hotel itself is in impeccable condition—spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and wonderfully cozy. The location is fantastic: just a short, easy walk from the train station in a safe and peaceful neighbourhood. The Wi-Fi was excellent, which was a big plus, and we loved the thoughtful little touches like comfortable slippers for guests.

When spotting this property online, I searched the availability for 2 adults and 1 baby for my dates in December 2024. The result was that only the South Apartment was available for my dates and the message was that the baby cannot be accommodated. I called the property to ask what that meant because, if there was no baby crib, I can gladly bring our own. The lady kindly explained that the South Apartment was rather small so there was a space issue. She suggested I opt for the South-East apartment instead, which would provide for a better space for the crib. I explained that the South-East one was not available for my dates. We concluded by the lady inviting us to go on Google maps and take a virtual tour of the apartment in order to judge for myself if we would be OK with the space availability for the crib. Which we thought was reasonable. And so we completed the booking.
We checked-in on Christmas eve, the lady welcomed us and presented the apartment, with all relevant instructions we could have needed. While we settled, we asked if they had, by any chance, a high chair for the baby, which we can borrow. This was made available immediately and was of tremendous help during our stay.
One day later the host messaged us to let us know that the tourist tax had not been included in the initial payment we made for the reservation and asked us kindly to settle it before we departed. I answered immediately that we are happy to do so as soon as she indicated what methods of payment are available to us. With such an advance notice, we would have had the time to arrange whatever method they preferred. There was no response to this. During the same conversation, we asked if they had, by any chance, a spare bedsheet for the baby crib, which we can borrow because we forgot to bring one. Same as with the high chair, this was made available immediately and was of tremendous help during our stay. We felt grateful that our needs were being met and the host went above and beyond to accommodate us.
Right before our check-out I messaged the host again inquiring about the method of payment for the tourist tax, maybe Revolut or if they had a POS for a card payment. The host said that the payment must be made in cash. I respectfully replied that this information was not made available to us when we asked 3 days before. At that point we had no cash and had time pressure on our hands because the baby needed to sleep and we needed to start driving back to Switzerland to avoid traffic jams. She provided details about where the nearest ATM was and we confirmed we'll go immediately to withdraw money and be on our way out.
The host then started to throw to our faces, quite aggressively, quite a number of things:
- that we were accepted to the property with a baby even if they normally don't do that (I checked again and there was no such information in the property terms and conditions);
- that she made the sacrifice of welcoming us on Christmas eve (the host herself had the property available for those dates, our booking dates were accepted);
- that she accommodated all our needs for the high chair and bed sheets (which were greatly appreciated at the time, but I still do not understand why it was presented as SUCH an effort);
- that the tourist tax must be paid in cash, according to their policy, which we should have read. (We once again confirmed that the matter was sorted and the cash will be left on the table).
After a whatsapp exchange reflecting all of the above, the host came to our door to bring to our faces everything all over again, to rant without accepting a response or having a civilised conversation. And here we were, the baby crying in our arms because he wanted to sleep, us wanting to leave because of traffic, and the host reminding us about her sacrificed Christmas eve, about her exception to the no-baby rule, her efforts to accommodate our supplementary needs and basically bullying us into not leaving a negative review.
...and that's how our holiday concluded!

Ons verblijf in Maison 1934 was fantastisch! Het huis was brandschoon en prachtig ingericht in een gezellige Pip Studio-stijl, wat een warme en huiselijke sfeer creëerde. Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig, van praktische voorzieningen tot kleine details die ons verblijf extra comfortabel maakten.
Ann was een geweldige gastvrouw. Ze voorzag ons niet alleen van veel nuttige informatie, maar was ook via WhatsApp altijd snel bereikbaar voor vragen. Haar flexibiliteit met de aankomst- en vertrektijden was bijzonder fijn, vooral na een lange reis waarbij het plannen niet altijd vlekkeloos verloopt.

We had an amazing stay! Maison 1934 is both stylishly and comfortably decorated. The house was spotless, and every detail was thoughtfully considered. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the center of Colmar, yet in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The host was very welcoming and highly responsive in communication. Check-in and check-out were seamless. We would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

Nous avons séjourné dans l'appartement est-ouest, celui ci est équipé de tout le nécessaire, la literie est très confortable et la décoration est magnifique, l’accueil d'Anne très chaleureux, et un classeur est à disposition avec des renseignements utiles sur Colmar et la région. Le logement est très proche du centre de Colmar et le stationnement est très facile et gratuit dans les rues alentours. Nous reviendrons sans hésitation.

Wonderfully decorated apartment with great shower and comfy bed. Our hostess could not have been more helpful with information and advice. The location is the other side of the railway tracks to the old centre of Colmar and most amenities, but it's very close to the station and we were glad to walk off some of the cheese, ham, wine etc. that we consumed during our visit!

Super nice and lovingly furnished accommodation and a very warm landlady. Free parking directly opposite. You can get to the city center in about 15 minutes on foot. If you book it directly on the website it is significantly cheaper than via Booking.

Wonderful apartment for two people, everything taken care of down to the smallest detail (chocolate, coffee, infusions, ice cream in the freezer... all new kitchen utensils and the same
color...) parking at the door and 20 minutes walk from the center of Colmar. Lovely Ana and giving us good information. To make a point, we will say that the breakfast is a little expensive, but it is unimportant. We will visit Alsace again and without a doubt we will stay at Maison 1934 if Ana accepts us!😜😘

Magnificent apartment and studio, the very beautiful, careful decoration, the excellent bedding and the great comfort of all the accessories (Nespresso machine etc.) make this address an obligatory stopover in Colmar!
Near the station and the center (very practical and no noise pollution, Incredible!) this accommodation is run by hosts who reflect their offer, extraordinary kindness, helpful and excellent advice.

We loved our stay at Maison1934! The apartments are beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped.
Maison1934 is a very short walk from Colmar station (provided you leave from the Rue de Tir exit!(oops)). We do our travelling by public transport when possible but there is free parking outside the apartment if you need it. Although near the station, the road is very quiet and we had no issues with noise.
Colmar is a beautiful town with fantastic architecture and lots of little streets to explore. The town is the perfect base for exploring the Alsace wine region and the pretty villages in the surrounding area. All are accessible by bus/train - important if you want to sample the delicious wines.
Anne was the perfect host and could not have been more helpful. We hope to visit again soon.

Such a lovely place to stay, so modern and comfortable. Anne was a wonderful host, welcoming and friendly, and the breakfast she provided was amazing. The location was ideal as it was so close to the train station. And Anne had lots of recommendations for things to do and places to eat

We've had a wonderful stay at Maison 1934. Anne is a very friendly and helpful host, you can ask her anything: best adresses for shopping/dinning, what to do in the area, ... The appartment is great! Everything you need is available and it is clear that Anne decorated the place with a lot of love. I can only recommend other people to come here and have a lovely visit!
