Explore the Vosges summits without a Maison 1934 car!
We are delighted to announce the long-awaited return of the Vosges ridges shuttle (Navette des Crêtes) ! From now on, and every weekend from June to September, you can take advantage of this exceptional service. Better still, from July 1 to August 31, 2024, the shuttle will run every day, allowing you to explore the peaks of the Massif des Vosges with ease.
What is the Vosges ridges shuttle (Navette des Crêtes) ?
The Navette des Crêtes is a comfortable bus service linking the peaks of the Grand Ballon to Lac Blanc. This summer public transport service provides access to the crests and major points of interest of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park without the need for a car. You can reach the shuttle from Colmar, Munster, Mulhouse, Thann, Remiremont, Gérardmer, Epinal and Saint-Dié-des-Vosges on the Fluo bus network.

Journey in the TER Fluo: Your journey to the peaks begins with a ride in the TER Fluo? Show your ticket dated today to board all buses in the Fluo 68 network, and lines 1C, 3, 17 and 29 in the Fluo 88 network at no extra charge.

Timetable: Buses run every day from July 1 to August 31, and on weekends in June and September. You can find all the timetables and routes on the navettedescretes.com website.
Additional Services
- Bicycles are allowed on board subject to availability. Reservations must be made before 4pm the day before your trip.
- Dogs are welcome on board, provided they are muzzled, and subject to the number of passengers and the driver’s approval. Small animals must be able to be held on their owner’s lap. Guide dogs can of course travel unconditionally.

Here are a few suggestions for making the most of your Vosges adventure:
- Sentier des Roches: A technical route with breathtaking views over the Munster Valley. Discover spectacular views along the way.
- Tête des Faux and Brézouard: From Lapoutroie, explore the Welche region and the Weiss valley. A route with a nice gradient, perfect for total immersion in nature.
- Tour du Markstein: Discover Markstein with its lakes, peaks, stubble fields and forests. A looped itinerary that can be adjusted to suit your needs.

The 8 regular routes
The 2024 system comprises 8 regular routes linking the valleys to the ridge, as well as the Navette Sommitale, literally the “Shuttle of the Peaks“.
- Route 68R013: Colmar Gare – Kaysersberg – Lac Blanc
- Route 68R043: Thann – Cernay Gare – Grand Ballon
- Route 68R033: Thann Gare – Thur Valley – Markstein
- Route 68R044: Mulhouse Gare – Guebwiller – Markstein
- Route 3: Remiremont Gare – La Bresse – Col de la Schlucht
- Route 29: Epinal Gare – Gérardmer
- Route 17: Saint-Dié-des-Vosges Gare – Gérardmer
- Route 1C: Gérardmer – Col de la Schlucht – Munster Gare (access to the Crête from Gérardmer and Munster)
- Summit shuttle: Lac Blanc 1200 – Grand Ballon, along the route des Crêtes
The Colmar-Metzeral TER railway line also provides access to the nearest station to La Crête, from where good walkers can reach the Hohneck, for example.
What’s new in 2024
- The Summit Shuttle (Navette Sommitale) takes on the colors of the Massif des Vosges and becomes a real ambassador, easily identifiable, circulating from north to south on the Route des Crêtes.
- A shuttle bus runs back through La Bresse on line 3 Remiremont > Col de la Schlucht.
