Summer 2024 marks a significant expansion of Basel-Mulhouse Euroairport with the addition of six new international destinations: Dubai (United Arab Emirates), Istanbul (Turkey), Rabat (Morocco), Oslo (Norway), Copenhagen (Denmark), and Hurghada (Egypt). These new connections will bring the total number of direct destinations to 103, reinforcing the Euroairport’s position as a key hub for Europe and the Mediterranean basin.

Key statistics and future projects

With 8.1 million passengers last year, the Euroairport is Switzerland’s third-largest airport, after Zurich and Geneva, and one of France’s most important provincial airports. A direct rail link, planned for 2034-2035, promises to further simplify journeys between the airport and Colmar, making the region even more accessible.
