The Écomusée d’Alsace is a cheerful flowery Alsatian village from the early 20ᵉ century and a Musée de France. It presents an impressive collection of sixty old half-timbered housesYou will find here a collection of houses, workers’ houses, a store, a town hall, a fortified tower, a village hall, a farm, a school and objects of daily life and ancestral use! All these buildings have been saved, transferred from their original site and reassembled to form a lively and captivating village:

Pushing the doors of this place impossible to circumvent in Alsace plunges you the time of one day in the natural and green framework of an Alsatian village of the years 1900/1930. You will surely come across, at the bend of an alley, lively villagers walking their animals, farmers in costumes, oxen teams or the school teacher, wooden stick in hand!

Throughout the year, new experiences are organized: courses, guided tours, fun days… (nature days, pottery courses, initiation to traditional agriculture) to discover the village from multiple angles!
